Targets

The idea of finding a more period target to use for archery in the Society for Creative Anachronis m has been much discussed lately.

I have written this article in the hope of encouragin g the use of period targets and contests at our SCA archery competitio ns by providing informatio n on what some period competitio ns entailed. In most all cases they are easy to set up and run and are often more interestin g to watch for the audience than competitio ns shooting the FITA five color face.
