Performing Arts

The Coxcomb Academy is an entity for promoting and teaching the performing arts within the SCA. It is our mission to research, teach, and practice performances as they were done in pre-17th century Europe.

You need to have appropriate entertainment for an event to feel right.

Stories and songs, wind instruments, percussion instruments, and what they sounded like.

Promote interest in and shares information about the performing arts of the Middle Ages and Renaissance.

An SCA-based troupe of entertainers, including storytellers, actors, puppeteers, minstrels, mimes, masked mummers, and mad dancers.

This guild is dedicated to the promotion, encouragement, learning and performance of bardic, theatrical, instumental and all other entertainment arts within an SCA context.
