Heraldic clothing
Heraldry is just as important in the culture of the SCA as it was in the illiterate and war-torn Middle Ages. In the SCA, we use heraldry in much the same way that it was used in the Middle Ages. Heraldry became popular for peacetime purposes in England and France towards the beginning of the 14th century.
