Wire Weaving
About a year ago, I found a photo of a wire artifact from Viking Age Denmark that was woven in a pattern that was completely new to me. It took a trip to Denmark to find a book that explained how to accomplish this pattern, and some experiment ation to find the most efficient and effective techniques . I learned a lot about period silversmit hing in the process. The result is a beautiful and unusual form of wire jewelry that is fun, if time-consu ming, to create.
